Starting in September 2011, shortly after he brought his keen eye to the colorful goings-on around Lincoln Center during Fashion Week, photographer Zoran Milich widened his lens as part of a special assignment for LIFE.com: In a new, weekly feature called Gothamatic, he wandered the streets of New York City, observing all the little things that make living in the five boroughs such a beautiful, frustrating, amusing experience.
