Another great photograph from ICP’s exhibition highlighting the work of David “Chim” Seymour: Children playing in a suburban park. Behind lies the Danube with the newly built Margareten Bridge. The theme of Ring a Ring o’ Roses, often contrasting with a ruined landscape, is recurrent in Chim’s work as well in his colleague Werner Bischof’s post-World War II European work. Budapest, Hungary. 1948.
